The show previewed last night for the press and opens tonight after weeks of preparations.  Cirque's founder Guy Laliberte is showcasing the pure talent and ridiculousness of Elvis and his career.  There are definitely going to be a lot  Elvis fans out there who are going to be comparing it to the many Elvis shows that have graced Las Vegas.

There have been rumors our today that Guy Laliberte founder of Cirque du Soleil is disgusted with the Viva Elvis show slated for City Center.  He supposedly saw the show and then called for some major changes.
